Our next regular meeting will be on July 7th at 7 PM. Click on Meetings in the left column and then click on Best Pancake House for a map and location. This restaurant is opened for dinner for our exclusive use on meeting nights. Please phone or email us with the first or third Tuesday evening of the month that you would like to join us. We also welcome prospective new members.
It is our country's 233rd birthday. God bless America.
Blue Crab Festival - May 16th & 17th
Twelve members of our club participated in the 28th annual Blue Crab Festival this year. There was a huge crowd, in spite of the economy, and our club did very well with broom sales and water/soda sales. More water sales than ever before due to the hot and muggy weather. We all had a great time.
This picture gives you an idea of the crowd. Our trailer is on the extreme right.
(L to R) Lions Dalphon Thompson, Skip Levinski, O.K. Bellamy and Arleen Lopano are ready for all the visitors at the start of the first day.
Highlight of the festival for Lion John Barnhardt was this meeting with Miss Myrtle Beach 2009. Now that's a happy Lion!
LION JACK SHEA'S 90TH BIRTHDAY
Lion Jack's daughter, Ann Maynard made a beautiful cake and Lion Larry Johnson brought a Marine sword to cut it.

We did the cooking oudoors for the guests inside the C.B. Berry Center.

A wonderful surprise for Lion Jack.
That's Lion Larry Johnson carrying in some hotdogs.

BLUE CRAB FESTIVAL - MAY 16-17
Sincere thanks to those who made this our most successful ever. Thanks to all for your support.
2009-2010 OFFICER INSTALLATION DINNER ON JUNE 16TH
We all had a great installation dinner with DGE George O'Neill inducting our new officers. Cliff of Best Pancake cooked a wonderful meal and even served us on white tablecloths. It was unfortunate so many members were absent due to health issues. Lion Arleen Lopano was awarded Lion of the Year. Congratulations Lion Arleen!
Until next time, God bless you all.
Little River is VERY close to the North Carolina border and just north of Myrtle Beach, SC. It is a small town that lies along both sides of the intercoastal waterway (pictured). Well worth the visit !!! Click here for a tour.
